I’m A Celebrity’s Fred Sirieix’s fiancée Fruitcake shares shock as star spills secret wedding details

Fred Sirieix's fiancée Fruitcake has told how he has left her with some tricky conversations after spilling details of their secret wedding plans in I'm A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!

The First Dates star and his fiancée, known by her nickname Fruitcake, had been quietly planning their wedding in Jamaica for next year with only close family and friends told about the details.

So it's no surprise she was shocked that he dropped her in it by telling his campmates – and ITV viewers – all about their plans for the big day while appearing on the prime time TV show.

Fruitcake, who has arrived in Australia ahead of the show's end, said that she has since had people asking for invites who did not know about the secret wedding before Fred talked about it on TV, saying of him: "So, like, thanks."

But she got her own back by revealing one of Fred's secrets – that his underwear allowance of five pairs of pants includes three pairs of speedo-style swimming trunks.

She said: "I haven't seen clips of him in his speedos yet and I am surprised. You know you are allowed to take in five pieces of underwear? He took three speedos and two pants."

Fruitcake added Fred, 51, loves to strip off when he is with TV chef friend Gino D'Acampo, saying: "If he could he would be a naturist walking around in there so the fact he is just in his pants doesn't surprise me. When he is with Gino he is always the one getting his kit off.

"He's got one pair with the French flag. I'm surprised that he hasn't worn them. I swear the man lives in them. And he's got one that's red and I think one that's blue."

She also said she was proud of how he had dealt with his rows with Nigel Farage on Brexit: "I thought he dealt with it well. It was in an adult way. Yeah.

"And you don't always have to agree with someone's views. And if you can do it in a polite and adult way then great."

But despite him spilling the secrets of their wedding, Fruitcake said she had been loving watching Fred in camp and liked seeing him taking care of his campmates.

She said: "It's been really fun watching Fred and I am not surprised he has been doing all the cooking and exercising. It is really fun that he has been making loads of friends in there.

"He is always the chef at home but he is from a French family and it is tradition it is how they show their love."
