Things took an unexpected turn on I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! when two campmates appeared to kiss.

But the problem was, it seems like it was an accident and the pair have partners watching them at home. It seems Jamie Lynn Spears, 32, smooched someone without realising it, and she didn't even know who.

Her teammates Fred Sirieix and Nella Rose had just returned to main camp victorious, having beaten Snake Rock's Nick Pickard and Marvin Humes in the Slam Dunked challenge. Main camp were delighted and shot up from their benches to celebrate the win.

But they might have celebrated a little too much, because Britney Spears' sister Jamie asked: "Did I kiss somebody? Because I have repellent on my lips!" Made in Chelsea star Sam Thompson claimed he was the lucky man.

"You did kiss me," the 31-year-old said excitedly while nodding his head. Jamie couldn't help seeing the funny side of the blunder as she replied: "Oh well, I guess I'll have to explain that to my husband."

Hosts Ant and Dec were baffled by the moment, with Dec asking: "Did they kiss on the lips?" Ant laughed: "Yes and they both have got partners!"

He then referenced a previous joke made about former boxer David Haye. He quipped: "So that means they are now in a throuple!"

Viewers were equally confused by the kissing chaos and took to X, formerly Twitter, to try and make sense of it. One wrote: "Jamie Lynn Kissed Sam Thompson! WHATTTTT #ImACeleb"

Another commented: "Wait Jamie and Sam kissed?? Even by accident? Lmaooo Zara McDermott is going to have a melt down." A third added: "Why am I in hysterics that Jamie-Lyn and Sam accidentally happy kissed."

Jamie has been married to businessman Jamie Watson since 2014. Sam is in a relationship with former Love Island star Zara McDermott.
