ITV I’m A Celeb fans claim ‘fix’ as first star leaves jungle after viewer vote

Tonight’s I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here saw Frankie Dettori leave the show as the first live eviction of the series took place.

Nella Rose and Frankie Dettori were revealed to have the fewest votes on Sunday's show, 3 December, but it was Italian jockey Frankie who had to say their goodbyes after 12 days in the Australian jungle.

Viewers took to social media as Frankie departed saying: ‘I'm a celebrity is definitely fixed not a chance frankie was voted out first.’

Another added: ‘Why would people vote for Frankie to leave !!, Even I'm A Celebrity is corruption. There's no way that's correct.’

Some weren’t too bothered to see him go, one said: ‘Frankie was boring on Celebrity Big Brother and he was boring on I'm a Celebrity’.

A fourth added: ‘I thought for the first half hour of I'm a celebrity Frankie Dettori had left he was moping about sat down not talking or smiling or getting involved what a boring contestent he is.’

As Frankie exited the show and was greeted by Ant and Dec, Frankie says: ‘It’s been so surreal and an adventure. Yesterday really hit me when we got the letters – you forget there is a world outside’

The eviction comes after yet another feud between Nigel Farage and a few of the other celebrities in camp.

After having breakfast, Fred Sirieix and Sam Thompson blasted Nigel as the politicians' views wound up the camp, again.

Nella Rose won nine starts in the trial leaving ITV’s Josie Gibson to make a meal that even chef Fred was impressed with.

The campmates also won every single letter from their family making for quite an emotional end to Sunday's episode.

Whilst sitting with Ant and Dec with a glass of bubbly, Frankie had nothing but good things to say about his campmates saying his time was “challenging, but great, and a fantastic camp.”

On being a later comer and the first out, Frankie said: “I’m disappointed yes, but very happy because I did nearly two weeks in the jungle, I faced my fears of enclosed spaces and snakes all in the same task.”

When asked who he thought would win the series, Frankie said: "I think Sam will win, he's a larger than life character, he's completely nuts, but funny."

As Frankie crossed the bridge, he was greeted by his wife of 26 years, Catherine Dettori.
