ITV schedule shake up as Big Brother is extended for drama from explosive nominations night – and a new feud is exposed | The Sun

BIG Brother will be so explosive tonight that ITV has decided to make the episode longer to fit in all the drama.

Bosses have stepped in and shaken up the telly schedule after tensions flared amid the latest round of nominations.

Rather than the usual hour-long slot on ITV2, Big Brother will now air for a further 15 minutes.

As a result, it's spin-off show Big Brother: Late & Live will start at 10.15pm.

A source tells The Sun Online: "The show's got so much drama tonight that bosses had to extend the show to fit it all in.

"There were so many clashes – the fallout from nominations is explosive – that the main show will be 15 mins longer and five parts instead of four."

Big Brother in homophobia row as Kerry says SORRY for using offensive slur

This is the second round of nominations for the Big Brother contestants since their arrival in the house on October 8.

Last Friday, make-up artist Farida Khalifa was given the boot following the public vote. She had been nominated for eviction alongside NHS worker Kerry Riches.

This week, each housemate will nominate two people rather than just one.

BB fans reckon they've worked out that seven contestants will be up as a result of the new rules and after watching the live stream.

And among the fired-up contestants, there is a new feud brewing.

Liverpudlian Paul will be seen tonight (Wednesday) nominating full-time mum Trish for eviction.

He tells Big Brother that he feels he is “getting lectured a little bit rather than just having a clear, open, light-hearted conversation".

Trish, meanwhile, throws her vote right back at him.

She brutally tells Big Brother that she thinks Paul is "emotionally not very intelligent".

Trish adds: “There’s no deepness to him. He’s just not interesting in my opinion.”

  • Big Brother continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
