Joey Essex squirms as he’s quizzed on relationship with Dancing on Ice co-star ahead of ‘terrifying’ return to the show | The Sun

JOEY Essex squirmed as he struggled to give a straight answer about his Dancing on Ice romance.

The 32-year-old was quizzed on his relationship with dance partner Vanessa Bauer as their chemistry sizzled on-screen.

Joey refused to confirm they were an item, instead insisting they were both "single".

However, he admitted they enjoyed "keeping each other warm" on the ice.

Appearing on Good Morning Britain with Susanna Reid and Ed Balls, Joey said: "The truth is obviously I'm single, Vanessa is single. We go the ice every day, it's cold, we've got to keep each other warm."

Excited Susanna said it "warmed the cockles of her heart".

Joey laughed: "No comment, can't confirm. We're taking it slow. I'm not confirming nothing."

Since being paired together in November, Joey and Vanessa, 26, have become almost inseparable.

As well as spending time at Joey’s Essex home, just this week he romanced Vanessa over a traditional, East End pie and mash lunch.

And Joey, 32, admits he is struggling to keep his hands to himself.
