Juliet Nightingale (Niamh Blackshaw) comes to a decision about which of her lovers she wants to be with in Hollyoaks next week, but the situation in which she finds herself means that it’s not the outcome fans hoped for.

The popular character is currently in a relationship with Nadira Valli (Ashling O’Shea), but her feelings for former flame Peri Lomax (Ruby O’Donnell) have left her conflicted about who she wants to be with.

Fans have been keen for her to rekindle things with Peri, who is quite evidently the love of her life and, despite the circumstances in which their relationship came to an end, it’s clear that both girls are still head over heels for one another.

In fact, Peri sets out to win Juliet’s affection once more later this week, donning her lucky dress, which succeeds in wowing her ex.

Nadira, meanwhile, is keen to reintroduce Juliet to her dad and thus organises a special dinner in order to do so, but Juliet is forced to miss the meal when she begins to feel unwell.

Her persistent sickness leads her to the hospital, where Peri runs some tests on her, and sparks begin to fly between the former couple once more.

But things are set to take an emotional turn, as Misbah Maalik (Harvey Virdi) delivers concerning news, revealing that Juliet will need a biopsy.

The discovery leaves Jules in a state, and thus she snaps at Nadira, who berates her for missing the meal with her dad.

Misbah, meanwhile, arranges the biopsy for later that evening, which is when Nadira has rearranged the meal for, but Juliet keeps her emotions and struggles hidden from her girlfriend.

Peri, meanwhile, wants answers too, which leads Jules to yet again snap. Juliet later finds comfort from Ste Hay (Kieron Richardson), who spots a leaflet she had dropped previously, and he accompanies her to the hospital with James (Gregory Finnegan) as Misbah reveals the results.

What happens next regarding the biopsy results remains to be seen, but Juliet subsequently pushes Peri away – telling her that she doesn’t want to be with her OR Nadira!
