Junior Bake Off fans all say the same thing about Harry Hill – but did you notice? | The Sun

JUNIOR Bake Off fans are all saying the same thing about host Harry Hill – but have you noticed?

The TV presenter and comedian, 58, is fronting the popular kids' version of the Channel 4 baking competition.

But while Harry has been praised for how well he works with the young stars, fans are all saying the same thing.

They think some of his one-liners are too mature for the children – with many of the contestants not even grasping the jokes.

Taking to social media, one viewer said: "The best bit is Harry Hill cracking jokes that go way over the kids head and they look at him like he's bonkers."

"The absolute *death glare* the kids give Harry Hill absolutely got me," said a second.

A third posted: "I feel like Harry’s jokes are too mature for the kids, they don’t know what he’s on about."

While a fourth commented: "Deeply enjoying the kids' reaction to Harry's japes."

It comes as one baker gave Harry a brutal dressing-down during an episode.

As Harry went around the tent speaking to the youngsters, one little girl put him in his place.

He told her: "I've got a friend who has a phobia of spiders, and I said 'well it's an irrational fear,' and he said 'well no the truth is that my auntie was killed by a spider bite."

After hearing the tale, she replied: "I thought you were going to say that he said his auntie was a spider."

"Well, that was going to be the punchline," responded Harry, looking visibly deflated.

"None of your jokes have really worked out today," said the youngster, leaving viewers in hysterics.
