Kim to be accused of Harriet's murder after Emmerdale storm death?

Kim Tate (Claire King) potentially made a huge mistake walking away from a dying Harriet Finch (Katherine Dow Blyton) in tonight’s episode of Emmerdale.

Last night, as the storm began, Harriet went into the woods on a quad bike searching for Amelia (Daisy Campbell), who was trapped in a barn and in labour.

With the wind picking up, Harriet ended up tumbling down a bank, causing the bike to land right on top of her.

Kim, riding on her horse, eventually arrived on the scene and was shocked to see Harriet in a bad way.

Seeing signs of life, Kim pulled Harriet out from beneath the wreckage. But fate had other ideas and a bolt of lightning struck the quad bike, which was already leaking fuel.

An explosion blew both Kim and Harriet back and tonight, the drama continued.

Kim was conscious (thank goodness) and immediately tried to help Harriet, but with her horse missing due to being spooked by the storm, Kim knew she needed to make her own way back.

She said ‘sorry’ to Harriet, got up and walked away, leaving Dan (Liam Fox) to find his lover on the floor.

As Kim made her way back to Home Farm, she told a horrified Will (Dean Andrews), Billy (Jay Kontzle) and Dawn (Olivia Bromley) about the situation.

Kim admitted that she left Harriet and argued that she couldn’t do anything to save her, but the concerned looks on Will and Dawn’s faces certainly suggested they think the iconic character may be hiding something.

But will they act on their suspicions, based on everything that’s happened over the past week?

Emmerdale continues Wednesday October 19 at 7:30pm on ITV.
