Legendary sitcom hitting Netflix next month – 31 years on from first ever episode | The Sun

NETFLIX has been dropping legendary films and TV shows for their viewers ahead of the upcoming Christmas holiday.

The streamer has announced that a much-loved American sitcom will be landing on its platform on December 15.

With many popular sitcoms already on Netflix, the announcement that the beloved hit US sitcom Martin – starring Martin Lawerance and My Wife and Kids’ Tisha Campbell – is being added to the streaming platform is the ultimate cherry on top.

Martin created the show along with John Bowman and Topper Carew, with him playing the titular character.

The humorous series was aired on Fox between 1992 and 1997 across five seasons, and it followed the everyday life of a radio DJ in Detroit called Martin, his best friends Tommy and Cole, his girlfriend Gina and her best friend, Pam.

The streamer has yet to confirm whether all 132 episodes of the 5 series will land on its platform, but the notice on the page states that only a few seasons are on the way.
