Lorraine Kelly slams out of order Craig Revel Horwood over Strictly remarks

Lorraine says Craig Revel Horwood was ‘out of order’ to Annabel

Lorraine Kelly branded Strictly Come Dancing judge Craig Revel Horwood “out of order” for his remarks about Annabel Croft.

On Wednesday’s show, Lorraine welcomed Annabel and dance partner Johannes Radebe to discuss preparing for the third week of the BBC competition.

“We are talking Strictly and my next guest Quickstepped their way through another week,” the presenter commented.

She continued: “Despite, well, I thought Craig was out of order… that’s what I thought.”

A clip from Saturday’s show reminded viewers of Annabel and Johannes’ feedback from the judges.

“She has great potential to be a beautiful ballroom girl,” Anton Du Beke had stated, while Shirley Ballas commented: “There was a connection missing between the two bodies.”

The latest episode saw the couple dancing the Quickstep to Walking on Sunshine.

They received mixed feedback from the panel, with Anton praising the way Annabel “flew around the room”.

“There were a few moments you looked absolutely terrified – twice in that dance you lost the face completely and then went back to concentration mode,” Craig Revel Horwood remarked.

“You need to try and gloss over that if that does happen to you,” he continued before going on: “There was a bit of gapping, you need to learn to control your arms and give them a little bit more artistry, my darling.

“The frame got a little bit loose as well, shoulders were slightly raised but I have to say I agree with Anton, you flew around that floor – well done.”

The upcoming week on Stirclty has a movie theme, and it’s been revealed the tennis star will be performing the Waltz to Moon River from Breakfast at Tiffany’s.

Hopefully, she will be able to impress the judge even more this week as the competition is now heating up.

Strictly Come Dancing continues on Saturday at 6.35pm on BBC One.
