Lorraine Kelly has sent her “best wishes” to Holly Willoughby after it emerged a 36-year-old man had plotted to kidnap her.

Speaking on her show this morning, the presenter said the situation was “very, very upsetting” and sent love to her and her family.

She added: “Of course we are sending Holly all of our love and best wishes, that is a terrible thing to be having to go through for her and her family.”

Holly’s London home is said to be guarded in a bid to keep her and her family safe.
