Lorraine shocked about Nigel Farage’s age ‘You get the face you deserve’
Lorraine Kelly viewers were left less than impressed after the host made a savage remark about Nigel Farage’s appearance.
On Tuesday’s instalment of her self-titled show, the presenter was speaking to former I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! star Edwina Currie about this year’s show.
The conversation soon turned to former politician Nigel Farage, after he was quizzed on Brexit by his fellow campmate Fred Sirieix on Monday night.
Touching on why she believes Nigel has agreed to go into the jungle, Edwina said: “I think he’s in there because he thinks he can enhance his reputation.
“He’s seen as a responsible, intelligent and worthy person of some kind or other. He’s only, what 59? He’s got plenty ahead of him if he wants to get going again.”

However, the ITV host was clearly gobsmacked by this revelation as she couldn’t believe how old he was.
She asked: “Is he?! Is he only 59? I thought he was a hell of a lot older than that.
“That’s astonishing, that just shows you get the face you deserve! You really do.”
Lorraine’s mean jibe about Nigel’s image didn’t go unnoticed by viewers as many were quick to take to Twitter about her remark.
