Love Island fans have praised Gemma Owen and the other girls in the villa for being "so relatable" after the boys treated them to impromptu massages.

Adam Collard suggested to the other boys that they set up a "spa" for the girls, which included drinks, cucumber eye patches and to Gemma's horror, massages.

And while the ladies were ultimately excited, 19 year old Gemma's instant reaction was to run into the girls' dressing room to warn the others, saying: "The boys are going to massage us!"

A shocked Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu could be heard saying: "No they're not!"

Gemma was then seen bending down in front of the mirror to see if she had any unwanted hair.

"They're f*****g everywhere," she said, before adding: "They're going to be massaging our backs and stuff so we're going to lying down and they're going to get a view of our f*****g arse."

One fan who enjoyed the scene, said: "That emergency dry shaving is so relatable."

Another wrote: "The girls shaving their bums in the mirror and saying ‘they’ll have to see our hairy a**es’!!! I can’t deal. Never has #LoveIsland been more relatable – well done girls."

"Gemma being stressed about being hairy is the most relatable love island has ever been #LoveIsland," said another viewer, before another added: "Gemma checking her bum is f****n hilarious and so relatable!!!"

A fifth fan tweeted: "Can i just say Gemma panicking about shaving bending down to check was so relatable, it's every girl struggle."

Later in the episode, fans watched on as Gemma and Luca Bish came to blows following the Mile High challenge.

The 23 year old fishmonger could be seen pushing his partner away after she licked Adam chest and neck.

Following the challenge Gemma confronted him about his "mood" and asked him if he was "12 years old" which caused Luca to remove his mic and walk out the villa.

In response, Gemma sarcastically commented: "Well, that went well!"

The couple's bickering was interrupted though, as it was revealed that one more couple will be dumped from the villa before next week's grand final.

Love Island continues every night at 9pm on ITV2.
