Love Island’s Adam Collard has admitted he is “living the dream” after striking up a romance with TV sports presenter Laura Woods.
Reality star Adam, 27, confirmed his romance with ITV and TNT host Laura, 36, on Instagram with a loved-up snap earlier this week following weeks of speculation that they were dating. Newcastle born Adam sent his followers into meltdown as he posted a picture of the pair in bed on his Stories with a cheeky caption that simply read: “Alright x”.
The couple could be seen locking hands in the snap – with Laura, from Dagenham, kissing Adam on the cheek. The couple have since shared cosy videos and pictures together online and even enjoyed a romantic trip to Cornwall.
Now Adam has broken his silence on the romance for the first time. He told the Mirror : "It's going great, you know. She's amazing and we are having a lot of fun. It feels like I'm living the dream."
Adam spoke out as he attended a launch event at London's Sixty Ink tattoo studio alongside a string of other reality stars including MIC’s Inga Valentiner and Geordie Shore’s Nathan Henry. The Celebs Go Dating star hinted at the success of his new relationship during the event by getting some new ink on the back of his neck that read, "adore u."
Laura’s fans have been left devastated after it emerged she was dating the Love Island hunk."Just heard the news I've dropped to my knees in tescos, tell me this isn't true," one person wrote on Instagram. A second said: "He’s stolen my Mrs.”
A third added: "I’ll be there to pick up the pieces.”
Meanwhile, Adam and Laura were said to be “smitten” with each other. An insider told The Sun: "Adam couldn't wait to show off Laura to his friends. He'd only told those closest to him that there was something going on.
"Then as things started to progress, they didn't feel the need to hide what's going on. They're absolutely smitten with one another."
Adam and Laura first sparked dating rumours last month when they were spotted out together at a pub in County Durham. The pair were said to have been close with conversation looking intimate as they knocked back drinks together.
A fellow pub-goer told The Sun: "Laura and Adam were definitely on a date and seemed to be very close. They sat in the Black Bull for a few hours and were talking over drinks.
"Adam seemed very keen on Laura and they looked like any other cosy couple enjoying a few drinks on a night out. They said they were staying at a place nearby called Rest At The Nest, which is usually a romantic getaway."
Adam has been romantically linked to model Lottie Moss, reality star Zara McDermott and OnlyFans star Demi Sims in the past. Laura, meanwhile, dated England rugby player Alex Corbisiero for eight years until they split this year.
