Love Island’s Tanyel makes Ron marriage confession after brutal villa dumping

Love Island star Tanyel Revan was brutally dumped from the villa during Thursday's instalment of the ITV reality show.

The salon owner, 26, was booted from the South African villa after bombshell Jordan decided to couple up with Ellie Spence.

Despite not finding love, Tanyel made a best friend in Ron Hall and the pair got on so well that fans started to believe there was more to their relationship than they let on.

This was only enhanced by the iconic heart-rate challenge after it was revealed the hair stylist's heart had peaked when she got a sexy dance from her best pal, Ron.

Despite this, Tanyel insisted the pair are just good friends and has thrown her full support behind Ron and Lana Jenkins.

"I'm glad I coupled up with him the first time around because if I hadn’t done that I wouldn’t have realised how good a friendship we could have," she explained in her exit interview.

Tanyel added: "What made me realise it was just a friendship between us was as soon as we coupled up, we couldn’t flirt.

"It’s like the flirting went out the window. I didn’t expect to get on with him that well. He’s my best friend. When I get married one day, I want him to be there with Lana! Genuinely, I think he’ll be my friend for life."

Ron and Lana have had one of the most dramatic journey's as a couple since entering the villa, and have only just found their way back to each other following weeks of being coupled up with other islanders.

Speaking about their reunion, Tanyel revealed she is backing them to be crowned champions of the winter series.

"I’m so happy! I want them to win the show, she said. "I said to him when I was leaving, ‘If you let me down, that’s our friendship done.’ I’m so happy they’re together. I feel like they’re the strongest couple and they have the most genuine feelings for each other. I hope he won't let me down!"

Gushing over Ron, Tanyel went on to say: "He’s very loyal and loyalty is a big thing for me. He reminds me of the people I know from home.

"He’s so caring. I can trust him. I don’t trust just anyone, but I fully trust him. I know if I say something to him it won’t go anywhere else."

Confirming how she feels for the 25-year-old, she shared: "I think he’s got a pure heart and genuine intentions. He’s got the best personality, genuinely – I just don’t fancy him!"
