This Morning’s Gyles Brandreth exposes Alison Hammond’s ‘fruity’ voice notes

This Morning favourite Gyles Brandreth left viewers in stitches after he exposed Alison Hammond’s “fruity” voice notes on air.

During Friday’s visit to the ITV studios, the former Big Brother star and her co-host Dermot O’Leary welcomed viewers back to the show where they discussed how to keep the spark alive in relationships.

With Valentine’s Day fast approaching, the royal expert encouraged viewers to write more love notes to their partners as the old-fashioned practice continues to go out of fashion with the wave of new technology.

It was at this point that he revealed that the next best thing to a handwritten note is an intimate voice note as he exposed the 48-year-old's message on the show.

Alison started the discussion with: "I like voice notes, don’t you?" as they discussed one of the sexiest ways you can send sweet nothings to your loved ones.

It was at this point that Gyles cheekily revealed: "Language is power. Language is what defines us. Last week you left me a voice note do you remember? It was lovely, and to listen to it [was amazing].

"There was a problem with it, of course. My wife said, ‘Who are you talking to?’ because she didn’t realise how intimate you can be, a little bit fruity. "

The studio soon erupted into laughter as the raven-haired beauty's jaw dropped to the floor.

Quick to squash the rumour, she insisted: "No I didn't!" before Gyles reassured viewers: "I'm getting a little bit carried away now."
