Fans of the E4 dating show saw Kasia dramatically leave Married at First Sight UK last week as she ended the relationship with Kwame. However, as the show was filmed earlier on in the year, many of the bride and grooms are only watching their romances unfold on TV now. Having seen how the show edited her to look ‘sex mad’ Kasia admits she confronted how she’s been portrayed.

Since the new series of the show aired at the end of August, Married at First Sight fans watched as 16 singletons headed down the aisle in search of love.

Throughout the dating show, there’s been ups and downs as some couples decided to leave after not finding a spark with their scientific match.

Last week, it was 36-year-old Kasia London who decided to call it a day on her marriage with Kwame at the most recent commitment ceremony.

The bride made the abrupt decision to leave after homestays as she told her groom and the experts the relationship was completely over.

Although the show is being aired during the week on E4, it was recorded earlier this year which means many of the bride and grooms are watching their journey on the show unfold at the same time as viewers.

Seeing how she had been edited in the episodes, Kasia says she’s since confronted the bosses over how her relationship is being portrayed.

The MAFS UK star details that it was made to look as though she was chasing her husband when in reality it was the other way around.

In an interview with The Sun, she said: “In the scene where I said ‘I’m ready, it was from another interview when I said ‘I’m ready to move in’ with my husband.”

The mum-of-two continued that it was in fact her husband Kwame on the show who pursued her which isn’t how it comes across on TV.

She continued: “In front of the cameras he tried to make out he didn’t want to get intimate with me which is a bit of an insult really.

“But the truth is, my man was trying it. In fact, our bed was a tent on a few occasions. Lol.”

Throughout the show, the subject of intimacy between the couple was continually brought up as Kwame said he didn’t want to rush things in the bedroom.

On the show, it appeared that Kasia wanted to be intimate with her husband which resulted in sex and relationship therapist Charlene Douglas having to intervene.

She decided to give the pair some tasks in order to spice things up in the bedroom, although despite her best efforts the romance between them both fizzled out.

In a past interview, Kasia admitted the real reason that they didn’t work out was surrounding her body shape.

She stated that his fat-shaming antics were somewhat to blame for the downfall of their relationship and that he was never going to accept it.

She added: “I came on the experiment to find love and a man that would stand by my side through thick and thin.

“But, it turns out that the man selected for me would only stick with me through thin.

I feel strongly about empowering plus-size women so I was never going to accept his fat-shaming antics.”

“I hope they watched a confident, strong woman who didn’t take any nonsense from a guy who is stuck on the idea that women should be slim.”

Married At First Sight airs every night at 9pm on E4 from Monday to Thursday.
