MAFSUK groom calls cops as he accuses bride of ‘destroying belongings’

A bride appearing on the newest series of Married At First Sight UK was reportedly questioned by police after she was accused of cutting her husband's clothes up.

Terence Edwards, 41, and Porscha Pernelle, 35, got hitched on Monday's (September 25) episode despite never having met each other before. But it appears there is already trouble in paradise for the pair.

Porscha allegedly left the flat the pair shared during the filming of the E4 show in turmoil after a huge run-in. It's reported that Terrence ended up resorting to calling the police on his wife.

Dad-of-three Terence was reportedly left stunned when he found his clothes and belongings strewn across the apartment, including a Michael Kors and Hugo Boss watch that were "damaged" following a so-called "commitment ceremony", during which contestants can opt out of their marriages if they wish.

After discovering his belongings were smashed, Terence called the police on Porscha after questioning her on why she cut his clothes up. He claimed that Porscha was the only other person that stayed able to access the flat in Wembley during filming.

Channel 4 were forced to apologise for the damae and replaced the items that his wife had allegedly destroyed. Terence appreciated the work the broadcaster did for his things, and recognised the good will Channel 4 provided.

"Fair play to the show, it took forever, and it was stressful waiting, but they got all my stuff sorted in the end," he revealed to close friends in the wake of the show, in a photo seen by MailOnline. But a source on the show revealed there were differences between the two contestants.

"Porscha and Terence struggled to get along during the process and often had different ideas about their marriage. On multiple occasions, Terence opted to leave the show while Porscha was keen to stay and so tensions continued to rise in their partnership," the insider said.

"Terence discovered one morning that belongings he left in his apartment had been damaged, his clothing torn up and his watches smashed. He had no option but to call the police because he suspected his bride may have been the cause".

Porscha and Terence tied the knot on Monday's show when they locked eyes for the first time. But it quickly became clear the duo had very different ideas of what they wanted from the marriage.

Devout Christian Porscha had concerns about how their relationship would work, due to her need to be in bed by 11pm. Terence, on the other hand, works as a DJ and would be required to stay out late in nightclubs.

Terence was also quizzed by Porscha at the altar on his religious beliefs before she even asked for his name – which allowed him to confess he is a proud dad of three.

A statement from Channel 4 confirmed the damage and revealed that products were reimbursed. A spokesperson said: "Some clothing was damaged on location but the contributor had the items replaced or was reimbursed by production".
