Marks and Spencer 2023 Christmas food advert has ‘sprinkle’ of Hollywood glamour

M&S’ Christmas food advert

Marks and Spencer has got Hollywood actor Ryan Reynolds on board for its festive food advert for 2023.

Following the winning formula of last year’s festive Fairy exploration, the Fairy is back and is voiced by comedian Dawn French who is joined by two new sidekicks.

Hollywood actors and Wrexham football club co-chairmen, Rob McElhenney and Ryan have teamed up with Dawn for the ad.

They are voicing The Mittens, aptly named Left and Right in the six-part ad series.

The campaign follows the Fairy who is determined to cheer up The Mittens after they were separated from their owner Lilly and lost in the thick snow.

Ryan said: “Our partnership with M&S Food is important to Rob and I, due to its established history with Wrexham and its commitment to supporting the local community.

“The connection we have to the club and its supporters is something we’re deeply proud of.”

Sharry Cramond, of Marks and Spencer, said: “This year’s Christmas advertising campaign is possibly my favourite to date.

“Not only does it build on the unrivalled success of last year, it also introduces a sprinkle of Hollywood glamour with the addition of both Rob and Ryan.”
