Masked Singer UK to see three new stars join judging panel in ITV shake-up

The Masked Singer UK is reportedly set for a shake-up this weekend as three new celebrities will join the judging panel.

It is believed that Peter Crouch, Stephen Mulhern and Lee Mack will be working as guest judges alongside Jonathan Ross, Davina McCall, Rita Ora and Mo Gilligan.

According to The Sun, the episode will also feature a double elimination with the celebrities going from seven to five.

A source told the publication: "The Masked Singer remains a huge Saturday night show for ITV, with over five million viewers last weekend.

"They’ve thrown the budget at a raft of star panellists as they cruise towards the big finale next month."

OK! has contacted ITV for comment.

It comes as Pigeon was unveiled in the newest episode of the hit ITV show which saw the latter and Jacket Potato in the bottom two on Saturday's show.

It was a tough choice, but in the end, Pigeon didn't quite make it and was voted out after the judges decided to save Jacket Potato.

It was then revealed it was comedian and actress Katherine Ryan hiding under the mask.

The show was filmed when Katherine was just one month away from giving birth to her new baby girl, which she recently welcomed to the world.

The judges revealed they were surprised as they believed it was Gemma Collins hiding underneath the mask after Pigeon was heard speaking in an Essex accent.

"We were so convinced at one stage that you were Gemma Collins," Jonathan said.

To which Katherine replied: "I can only do sort of an Essex accent because I watch so much ITV reality TV – I love reality TV, I love the GC."

When asked about her time on the show, she said: "I've enjoyed my time so much, I'm such a big fan of the show," before explaining that she watches it with her daughter.

It comes after fans were disappointed last week when Rubbish was unmasked as a legendary snooker player Stephen Hendry, but that no one seem to have heard of.

Stephen said: “I thought it was so obvious because it was me." He continued: “I love the show and its way out of my comfort zone so I thought why not let's give it a go.”
