FRIENDS star Matthew Perry looked downcast while going out for dinner with friends just a few days before he died.
Matthew died tragically on Saturday evening at the age of 54 in an apparent drowning incident.
Earlier this week, the actor was seen having dinner while appearing to be quite gloomy.
He was walking away from a restaurant called The Apple Pan in Los Angeles, California.
The Friends star was out with a friend while enjoying a meal at the restaurant which was known for its famous hamburgers.
Matthew wore a very casual outfit during his outing, as he was spotted wearing a blue T-shirt with a pair of black joggers and white sneakers without any laces.
He also wore a pair of sunglasses while holding a large cup of soda that appeared to be left over from his meal.
His unstyled hair was blowing in the wind, and his face was covered in a short salt-and-pepper beard.
TRAGIC DEATH
An early report of Matthew's death came from TMZ.
Sources in law enforcement said the actor was found in the jacuzzi at a home in the Los Angeles area.

First responders were initially called to the house for a cardiac arrest.
Sources also reported that there were no drugs found at the scene, and foul play is not suspected at this time.
The outlet revealed Matthew came home after a two-hour game of pickleball, as he sent his assistant out on an errand shortly thereafter.
The assistant is said to have returned about two hours later, where he discovered Matthew unresponsive and reached out to emergency services.
Matthew's last post on Instagram ominously showed him enjoying a dip in a jacuzzi.
In the caption, the television star said: "Oh, so warm water swirling around makes you feel good? I'm Mattman."
ONGOING BATTLE
In the years leading up to his death, Matthew left fans worried he'd fallen back into old habits after he appeared disheveled.
The sighting came after he wrapped up his whirlwind book tour where he promoted his memoir.
In the book, Friends, Lovers and the Big Terrible Thing: A Candid, Darkly Funny Book, he shared shocking details about his life and past issues.
He spoke about battling addiction – something he's been open about through the years.
In 2018, when he was 49 years old, he suffered a gastrointestinal perforation as a result of his extreme opiate usage.
