Morning Live viewers blast BBC for 'selfish' cycling segment – fuming 'do their egos know no bounds?!' | The Sun

MORNING Live viewers were left annoyed with a BBC cycling segment, which they hit out at for being 'selfish'.

The chat show hosts introduced a member of the challenger squad to the audience as he tackled a cycle from Oxfordshire to London to raise money for Children in Need.

Angelos, 19, has recently recovered from cancer and learned how to bike to make a donation to the BBC charity that helped him so much during his illness.

But viewers hit out at the live biking segment, calling it 'egotistical' as the teen and presenter Jermaine Jenas held up traffic during the clip.

One person slammed BBC bosses saying: "Just seen on BBC's Morning Live 3 cyclists (1 interviewer and 2 others) abreast a single carriage road, barely pedalling, so they can talk.

"I know it’s for charity but have a thought for the fucking miles of traffic being held up by these selfish a**eholes."

Another angry watcher exclaimed: "Look at them holding up all those people! Peddle for the love of god!!!!"

A third criticised: "Can you imagine you're a delivery driver up against a deadline or on the way to a hospital appointment or work and

"Do these egos know no bounds? It may be for charity but selfish + dangerous!"

Someone else joked: "Car drivers pissed off behind holding them up. Road rage alert!"
