Saturday Night Takeaway fans left distracted as ITV show surprise guest on date

Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway fans were left distracted on Saturday's episode as the ITV show decided to surprise guest Liam.

Liam's partner Amy had decided to surprise her partner as he is known for his pranks and the duo's date, which was across the road, was gatecrashed by a mischievous Ant and Dec.

Revealing that they were on Saturday Night Takeaway, the duo were quickly transported to the ITV studio across the road to appear on the show – where the hosts revealed they had been pranking him for the past few months.

However, viewers were left distracted as they noticed Amy and Liam left all their belongings in the restaurant under the table as they worried the couple had forgot.


Taking to Twitter, one person said: "#SaturdayNightTakeaway they left a bag under the table in the restaurant."

A different account put: "They left their bag under the table #SaturdayNightTakeaway" with a shocked emoji.

Another follower wrote: "Erm they’ve left their bag in the restaurant #saturdaynighttakeaway."

During the opening show, the episode was voiced by Guest Announcer David Tennant with viewers going wild over the surprise.

Taking to Twitter, one person said: "So happy #SaturdayNightTakeaway is back, especially with David Tennant as the special guest!"
