Selling the OC (Season Two): Official Trailer

Polly Brindle has finally opened up about the controversial kiss with her co-star Tyler Stanaland.

Season two of the hit Netflix Selling Sunset spin-off saw the glamorous realtors of the Oppenheim Group return to take on the Orange County coast.

As well as the office drama and stunning properties on screen, viewers were left shocked as the instalment revealed co-stars Polly and Tyler shared a steamy kiss.

Although their coworker Kayla Cardona maintained they two did more than just kiss.

While Polly told US Weekly: “Me and a friend shared a drunken kiss. That was it. Nothing else,” she also hit back at viewers following the backlash.

During an appearance on Nicole Lapin’s Money Rehab podcast, Polly shared her side of the story.

Defending the kiss, the 37-year-old stated: “I just need to clear this up Tyler is divorced.

“In season one, which we filmed a year and a half ago he was married, and he is no longer married,”

Hitting back at Cardona, she told the host: “In season one, there was one person in the office that made multiple unwanted attempts to hook up with him… That was Kayla.”

Polly and Tyler were met with criticism as viewers were uncertain of the timeline of the kiss as the realtor was married to actress Brittany Snow and being flirtatious on the show.

The star continued that while their marriage “unfortunately did not last, and I don’t think that helped the situation, but I don’t think it was the one thing that ended that.

“Kayla seems to think that’s exactly the same thing as what she did a year and a half before and for me, I’m like, ‘Hmm, it was a year and a half ago, dude was married and you made multiple unwanted advances on him.’

“Fast forward to now, the dude is single, it was a very much team effort. It wasn’t a secret. She tried to make it into this big thing and it’s not the same,” Polly added.

The reality star insisted she wanted to address the kiss not just to clarify the timeline but to also shoot down Kayla’s claim.

As she affirmed: “ If it was, I would own it, but it wasn’t.”

The bitter confrontation took place on screens as Polly aggressively quizzed Polly about the kiss and although she initially denied it, the truth was unveiled.

During a separate conversation with Alex, Polly detailed the “snog” with Tyler and confessed she had no regrets but said it was unlikely to happen again.
