COULD there be trouble brewing for Liv Flaherty, months after she finally managed to find happiness?

A dangerous stranger has followed her mother Sandra to Emmerdale. Get the lowdown on all of this week's drama.

1. Liv gets in danger

Actress Joanne Mitchell recently reprised her role in the Yorkshire-based soap as Sandra Flaherty paid her daughter a visit.

Sandra hadn't seen Liv Flaherty (played by Isobel Steele) since the pair spent some time drinking and partying together at a caravan park in 2021.

While she missed out on Liv's main recent hardships – which include a stint in prison – Sandra reveals she's ready to clean up her act and stop drinking.

Liv is ready to help – but it could come at a great cost.

This week, the Hide Bistro barista finds out her mother owes four grand to a man called Terry (portrayed by Neil Bell).

Sandra pleads her case to both Liv and Vinny Dingle (Bradley Johnson), assuring them Terry has actually been taking advantage of her.

Liv agrees to let her stay with them, making Sandra block Terry's number – but she feels her mother is still hiding something.

This leads to her and Vinny later wondering if they can even trust anything Sandra tells them.

And when a menacing Terry walks into their home, confronting Sandra and demanding his money back, the couple are terrified.

Terry piles the pressure on Sandra for his money but Liv steps in, willing to pay it all back herself.

Later on in the Village Hall, Vinny tells Liv he's scared her plan to help Sandra could backfire.

Could he be right to worry?

2. Moira makes a shock discovery

Meanwhile, another Emmerdale mother is desperate to find out what really happened to her late daughter.

Six years after Holly's death from a drug overdose, Moira Dingle (portrayed by Natalie J. Robb) has moved on but still harbours pain and doubt over the tragedy.

Coming up, however, Suzy Merton (Martelle Edinborough) opens old wounds for the farmer.

This week, Priya Sharma (Fiona Wade) and Suzy excitedly prepare for the Hop and Take A Vow showcase but are unaware their slideshow includes a picture of Holly Barton on the day she died.

The picture later flashes up during Belle Dingle and Jai Sharma's presentation, prompting Moira to hound Suzy for more information.

Suzy is trapped and realises Moira recognised Holly's dress as the one she wore the day she died.

The farmer is desperate for answers but her hopes are crushed when Suzy lies.

But another village resident could set the record straight.

3. Suzy is exposed

While Moira is adamant on getting Suzy to tell her what she knows about Holly's death, Vanessa Woodfield (Michelle Hardwick) watches on.

The village vet is aware Suzy isn't telling the truth and challenges her to come clean.

Suzy then opens up to her, recounting exactly what happened the night Holly died.

Moira then arrives and the pair grow concerned she may have overheard their conversation.

However, Moira apologises for her earlier outburst and Vanessa is disappointed to see Suzy go along with the apology, evidently not willing to tell her the truth.

Suzy asks Vanessa to keep her secret – what will she choose?

Could it drive a wedge between them?

4. Dawn buys a child

Elsewhere, Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bromley) steps back into the spotlight this week after helping Gabby Thomas find Jamie Tate and being a target for serial killer Meena Jutla.

Coming up, the receptionist finds out her best friend Beth died from an overdose.

Dawn is first unsure whether she'll attend the funeral but it eventually convinced by her husband Billy Fletcher (Jay Kontzle) to go pay her respects.

Once there, Dawn finds another friend called Jade and both reflect on their past after the funeral.

She then agrees to go back to Jade's but upon arriving, she finds a child in her friend's threadbare house, a girl called Clemmie (Mabel Addison).

Dawn is shocked to find out from a drugged up Jade that she's Beth's daughter and Clemmie reportedly has no idea her mother died.

Dawn is further unnerved when a dangerous man walks in and, in an attempt to help Clemmie, offers to take her home for safety – before offering money to do so in exchange.

The pair return to the village, after Dawn hands over some cash, and Billy is shocked to see them.

Billy pleads with his wife and urges her to call social services – but Dawn refuses.

He then concedes to letting Clemmie stay with them for one night.

Will Dawn be convinced to do the right thing?

Or could her traumatic past with her son Lucas take over, pushing her to go against the law to make sure Clemmie is safe?

5. Noah terrorises Gabby

Weeks have gone by since Noah Dingle (Jack Downham) was thrown in prison for stalking and terrorising Chloe Harris.

But while he's behind bars, he is seemingly reminded of his crush on Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) and proceeds to put her in his target line.

This week, the young mother receives a visiting order from the perverted teen.

Remembering her own horrific ordeal with Noah, when he was hired by Jamie Tate to spy on her, Gabby is disgusted and throws the request in the bin.

But somebody nearby gets a hold of the request.

6. Amelia takes action

Babysitting for Gabby Thomas has led Amelia Spencer (Daisy Campbell) within the walls of Home Farm.

This means that she spots Noah's visiting request in the bin and decides to visit the troubled youngster- on whom she's had a crush.

But when she realises she'll need ID during the visit, Amelia goes a step further and swiped Gabby's ID.

In prison, Noah is shocked to see Amelia.

What will she tell him?

7. Nicola takes control

Nicola King (Nicola Wheeler) is still in the process of recovering from her attack mentally.

When her husband Jimmy is ready to head home, she knows she will have to open up about the toll the attack has taken on her mental health.

Nicola first tries to avoid the conversation by going to work at the café but Jimmy reels from hearing her confession and decides to be there for her.

Feeling stronger thanks to his support, Nicola soon shares the video of her attack and calls for information on her attacked – but Jimmy isn't convinced.

The video gains more attention as Nicola grows more determined to bring the teenage girls responsible for her mugging down.

Although her sister Bernice is shocked, Nicola soon gets what she's been looking for – the name of one of her attackers.
