Poor Vinny Panesar (Shiv Jalota) is madly in love with Dotty Cotton (Milly Zero) on EastEnders, despite her not really reciprocating his feelings – and it’s a recipe for further heartbreak for him in upcoming episodes when Dotty and Finlay Baker (Ashley Byam) get together.

Things start to develop between Dotty and Finlay as they talk about their fathers and Finlay asks Dotty out for a drink. Vinny is jealous and upset as he realises the two are getting close, and ends up punching Finlay.

As Vinny nurses his bruised ego (and possibly his bruised knuckles), Ash (Gurlaine Kaur Garcha) tries to comfort her brother and encourages Vinny to make contact with Dotty to try to put things right between them.

What he doesn’t realise is that at the exact moment he’s trying to call her, Dotty is in bed with Finlay.

As Dotty heads home the next day she’s spotted by Bernie (Clair Norris), who advises her to be honest with Vinny. She decides to take this advice but Vinny doesn’t react well when she tries to talk to him, and when Finlay gets involved it only makes the situation worse.

A heartbroken Vinny throws Dotty out of the house. Where will she turn?
