A shocking incident in a coming Coronation Street episode makes Kelly (Millie Gibson) question how much violence Gary (Mikey North) is capable of. Could his involvement in her father’s death be about to be revealed?

In an attempt to make amends with former victims of her loan shark dad Rick, Kelly has decided to use her inheritance to pay them back. It’s an honourable idea, but the problem is that not all of Rick’s former ‘customers’ are entirely pleasant types.

When Kelly doesn’t come home after visiting one of these people, Kieran, Gary panics. Then he gets a text from Kelly asking him to let her mum know she’s ok. Of course Kelly’s mum is dead, and Gary realises that Kelly is sending him a message to let him know she’s in trouble. Then he gets a call from Kieran saying if he wants to see Kelly alive again he has to come up with £50,000.

Gary scrapes together some of the money and heads off to confront Kieran, who’s not pleased that Gary hasn’t brought the full amount and tells him to come up with the rest – or it’ll be bad news for Kelly.

A cunning Gary has placed a tracker in the bag of cash and uses that to find out where Kelly is. A massive fight ensues when Kieran turns up with a crowbar and Kelly is shocked when she sees a whole new side to Gary – someone who’s prepared to use extreme violence when he has to.

She later questions Gary about what happened. She knows that he was ready to kill Kieran and she wonders about what he’s capable of – and what he might have done in the past.

Is she getting close to exposing Gary’s deadly secret?
