Ellie Leach has a "great connection" with her Strictly partner Vito Coppola, her mum has revealed.
Romance rumours have been swirling around the couple in recent weeks, thanks to their undeniable chemistry on the dancefloor and close relationship. Vito, 31, has fuelled the rumours by calling Corrie star, 21, "baby" and is quick to kiss her after their routines.
Now, Ellie's mum Karen has addressed her daughter's relationship with the dancer. And she believes he's helped her become more confident as a woman.

She told The Sun: "She seems to have blossomed into a beautiful, young, confident woman — although she will always be our little girl. Even though Vito is teaching her to dance, he has also been helping her focus on her self-confidence and inner strengths, which is something she has always suffered with growing up.
"They have formed such a wonderful friendship and have a great connection on the dance floor.” She also revealed that Vito has been helping out with the cooking at their family home in Bury, Greater Manchester.
"He is such fun to be around and so confident," Karen added. "He has spent dinner with us on a few occasions. Wow, he can eat! It is great for me as I am a feeder, so he fits in just fine."
She explained that Vito likes to watch over her shoulder as she's cooking to see which ingredients she's putting together. She insists it's lovely having Vito over and that he has a "lovely aura".
Ellie and Vito scored a whopping 39 out of 40 for their Charleston to Love Machine by Girls Aloud during Blackpool Week. Vito kissed Ellie afterwards and excitedly declared: "We've won, baby."

Last week Vito described Ellie as a precious jewel during the results show. He said: "I think, for me, Ellie is this rough diamond that you need to put under pressure and shine the front and the sides."
