The Chase contestant Beth is sent home
The Chase viewers have branded the ITV show a fix after one contestant had some hard questions during her round.
On Wednesday’s instalment of the programme, 23-year-old Bethany managed to impress the Chaser after answering six questions in her cash builder round.
Turning down Jenny ‘The Vixen’ Ryan’s two offers, she decided to go with what she had earned and tried to bring back £6,000 to her team.
However, when she was at the table the questions seemed to be extremely hard as one included “How many years apart were Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers nominated for Oscars?”
With the options being either four years, 14 years or 34 years, host Bradley Walsh made a remark on how young Beth was in comparison to the context of the question.

He asked her: “How old are you? killer question that isn’t it? It’s a killer question.”
As the contestant revealed she was 23 years old, she decided to go for four years, although she got the answer wrong.
Throughout Beth’s round, people believed many of the questions were unfair due to the contestant’s age.
It wasn’t long before people watching took to Twitter to share their thoughts on the player’s round.
A viewer called @vjg46 said: “Fixed by the show. [sic] Poor Beth had no chance.”

In the end, it was Zaheer, Lindsay and Terry in the final playing for a total of £12,000 against the Chaser.
They managed to answer a total of 21 correct questions which meant The Vixen had two minutes to try and beat their score.
After a nail-biting final chase, the trio walked away with their cash prize as Jenny had three more questions to answer.
The Chase continues on weekdays on ITV from 5pm.
