The Chase fans were convinced that one player had been "frozen" after she mostly failed to contribute to the final round of the show.

She was joined by three other contestants who went up in front of Bradley Walsh and Chaser Mark Labbett to try and win a top cash prize.

However, during the final round Hayley pressed the buzzer just once with an incorrect answer while her team mate pulled most of the weight.

Fans took to Twitter to speculate over what had happened to the player and one joked that she had been "frozen".

They wrote: "Has Hayley frozen? […] Poor guy didn’t stand a chance."

Another tweeted: "Hayley, Hayley? Are you with us?"

One viewer also added: "Hayley looking so upset. Like she contributed absolutely anything."

Others noted that she had "pressed once" and her "answer was wrong" while others said that she "wasn't much use" as she only contributed £200.

Hayley tried her best during her cash builder round but ended up opting for the lower prize so that she could secure a position in the final.

The player and two of her co-stars made it to the final round and the team managed to rack up 14 spots, but Bradley noted that they would need a few "push backs" to steer Mark away from their prize pot.

Luckily, Labbett stumbled on a few questions which left Walsh in amazement.

The team deliberated and managed to push him back a few times but it wasn't enough, and Mark stole their £14,200.

When Hayley joined the show, she complained about her nose to Bradley, who completely disagreed with her comment.

The contestant wore her hair in a large bun on top of her head, a leopard print top and a black cardigan as she pointed out her facial feature.

One fan also turned to Twitter to comment and assured the star that she had no reason to be concerned.

They tweeted that she had a "lovely nose" and asked someone to clarify "what she was on about".

Fans of the show have been elated after it returned to ITV after continuous football coverage was shown throughout the World Cup.
