The Chase presenter Bradley Walsh was left in shock after he realised he has met one contestant's father.
The game show host welcomed four hopefuls up to the podium and among them was Ashley, who said he would use the prize money to make a home for his game collection.
The contestant wore a beige shirt and a big smile as he spoke to Walsh about his job and hobbies.

He told viewers that he spends his days turning old renewable batteries into energy storage, which left Bradley amazed.
Ashley explained that the process is "green" and went on to say that he lives in East Harling in Norfolk.
However, he is originally from Cromer where his father is the lighthouse keeper and he spent most of his childhood in the lighthouse.
Bradley realised: "I've met your dad! Fourteenth hole […] Cromer! I always used to slice my shot up the fair way and end up in your garden!"
Ashley chuckled and responded: "We've had a couple through the window!"
Bradley gushed: "I don't doubt that! Beautiful part of the world," and Ashley agreed it is the "nicest spot in Cromer".
The guest then told him that he loves to go metal detecting in his spare time, which Bradley congratulated him on before asking what kind of treasure he has found.
Ashley admitted he had found "some Roman and Celtic stuff dating back 2000 years," along with a "nice diamond and gold engagement ring".
He said that he would like to use the prize money to "convert his garage into a geek den" as he "collects old retro games consoles" and there is "currently no where to put them".
The contestant then took part in the cash builder round where he managed to make himself an impressive £4,000 prize.
However, Bradley was quick to interject and informed him that the judicator was allowing one of his "incorrect" answers, which brought the prize pot up to £5,000.
Ashley was shocked with the response and appeared very happy with himself before he continued on to take the chaser head to head.
The contestant wanted to see Anne Hegarty, but Jenny Ryan was sent out to try and beat him.
