Those naughty Love Island producers were busy stirring things up again in the villa tonight (July 5), as they instructed singletons Georgia Steel and Wes Nelson to take out two coupled-up Islanders on dates.
Well, this was never going to be peaceful, was it?
Wes chose Darylle Sargeant for his date, saying he has “always been curious” about her, while Georgia chose to go out with Sam Bird.
Sparks were definitely flying between the pairs during their first dates, but it was Wes and Georgia’s second dates that ended up causing tension in the villa after Georgia decided to take out Jack Fowler – and his partner Laura Anderson was NOT happy about it.
She sarcastically joked, “Hey, do you want to borrow my dress?” before pouring her heart out in the Beach Hut about her feelings: “Why is it always my man?”
And of course, Wes picked Megan Barton Hanson for his own second date, after she dumped him for new arrival Alex Miller, even though Wes previously ditched Laura to be with her before he went into Casa Amor.
With a mass dumping on the horizon, a lot of viewers were loving all of this sudden drama:
Despite the Wes/Megan drama, many Love Island fans were left feeling a little upset that Georgia would betray Laura after they stayed loyal to her through the whole Josh Denzel debacle:
Still, the dates certainly had an impact, as they strongly influenced which four Islanders were dumped at the end of the episode.
Love Island continues tomorrow (July 6) at 9pm on ITV2.
