This Morning fans ‘switch off’ as they demand ITV bBring back Rylan and Josie’

This Morning: Craig and Rochelle open the show with Mr Motivator

This Morning fans weren’t pleased to find Rylan Clark and Josie Gibson weren’t presenting Monday’s show, with some going as far as switching off from the channel.

Many took to social media to express their disappointment that the two hosts, who fronted the ITV show last week, were absent.

Taking to Twitter, formerly known as X, @JayneCellis wrote: “Gutted to find Josie and Rylan gone! Craig is nice though. #thismorning.”

@Metroline10 claimed: “I will swap Craig for Andi Peters, he works well with Rochelle, it’s obvious Craig is not feeling Rochelle, he is a completely different person when he presents with Josie or Holly [Willoughby], today’s presenting pair is not working, where is Rylan? Get Craig off that sofa. #ThisMorning.”(sic)

“4 seconds and turn off presenters and motivate. where’s Rylan and Josie #ThisMorning,”(sic) @snoopsaj asked.

@Queenof10198743 shared: “Rylan and Josie were the ideal presenters. Brought some class and warmth into the show. Keep them on #ThisMorning.”

However, some disagreed and were glad to see Craig and Rochelle back on the show.

@CKurkova posted: “More Rochelle! She’s gorgeous #thismorning.”

This Morning has had to deal with a lot of upheaval this year, and there are currently no official replacements for Holly Willoughby or Phillip Schofield.

The latter left in May after admitting to having had an affair with a younger colleague, while Holly made her exit last month.

A rotation of hosts including Friday presenters Alison Hammond, Dermot O’Leary, Rylan, Josie, Craig, Rochelle and others have been stepping in.

Many have speculated Good Morning Britain star Ben Shephard might soon become a permanent fixture.

He has been among the famous faces to have presented the magazine show recently, and it’s been reported he could become a permanent member of the team.

When contacted for comment recently by Express.co.uk, an ITV spokesperson said: “Ben has presented This Morning many times over the years and as previously mentioned we are continuing to use a mix of our family of presenters, and this doesn’t affect anything else.”

This Morning airs weekdays from 10am on ITV.
