This Morning: Rylan introduces Cat Deeley
ITV viewers are demanding that Cat Deeley and Rylan Clark be made permanent hosts on This Morning after they co-hosted the daytime show for the first time on Monday.
At the beginning of the programme, Rylan delighted watchers as he introduced Cat for the first time in the studio.
He gushed: “Hello and welcome to Monday’s This Morning, what a way to start the week, TV legend Cat Deeley is in the studio!”
Cat replied: “Hello and good morning, can you believe they’ve let two of the naughtiest people on television live on ITV This Morning?”
The duo hit it off with ITV fans and even brought back an old favourite game, Wonkey Donkey.

Wonkey Donkey was an iconic game that most SMTV veterans will remember, where a stuffed animal is put into a specific costume and fans have to call into the show to guess the rhyme.
During the game, a caller got very confused and kept repeating: “Wonkey Donkey,” when the real answer was Funky Monkey.
This left Rylan in fits of laughter and he ended up shouting at the caller down the phone: “It’s got to rhyme, what’s wrong with you? Say ‘funky monkey!'”
Many ITV fans were delighted with the duo presenting together, with one person saying on X: “Cat Deeley and Rylan should be the permanent hosts of @thismorning #thismorning.” (sic)
A second chimed in: “Please can we keep @Rylan and @catdeeley ! Breath of fresh air into the programme! Finally, a great team!”
A third typed: “I’m not often home to see @thismorning but @catdeeley & @Rylan are clearly the dream team! So happy to see Wonky Donkey!!”

A fourth chimed in: “As I said yesterday can we get Rylan Clark and Cat Deeley to host @thismorning permanently they are definitely made for it.”
A fifth person similarly said: “Rylan and Cat make a great team! Long may they reign at the helm!”
A sixth penned: “Well what a duo @catdeeley & @Rylan – a watchable show.”
A seventh viewer said: “Love watching the tv legend Cat Deeley, with Rylan on #ThisMorning. They should be the permanent hosts. Enough said.@itv.”
