The Bravo personality reportedly will be competing for a coveted Mirror Ball trophy in the new season of ABC’s hit dancing competition series that is scheduled to premiere in September.
AceShowbiz -“Vanderpump Rules” star Ariana Madix will seemingly dance her heartbreak away. If a new report is to be believed, the Bravo personality will be competing in the new season of ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars” that is set to premiere in September.
An insider told Page Six, “ABC is in late stage conversations with [Ariana] to be a contestant to join ‘DWTS’ this fall.” It was also said that Ariana “has already received all of the approvals and sign-offs from NBC Universal,” the parent company of Bravo, which produces “Vanderpump Rules”.
The casting report came following her headline-making split from her “Vanderpump Rules” co-star Tom Sandoval, who was revealed to have a full-blown affair with fellow cast member Raquel Leviss. Ariana, who is a bartender on the reality show, allegedly turned heads with her red-hot “revenge dress” during season 10 reunion with a source claiming, “I think [Tom’s] eyes are gonna bleed.”
Andy Cohen, who served as the host in the explosive reunion, additionally teased that it was an “aggressive” and confrontational reunion show. “If you are looking for them to be confronted to their face about what they’ve done – in what I would say [was] an aggressive manner, a confrontational manner – you will get it,” the Bravo executive said.
In an interview with Page Six earlier this month, Andy also suggested that he was forced to help break up a “near-brawl” during a heated argument among the cast members. “Let me tell you something – I didn’t leave with any bruises, but I was called into action,” he teased on April 4 in New York at Variety’s 2023 Power of Women event, presented by Lifetime.
When asked if viewers would be “shocked” by those who almost got physical with each other, the TV honcho responded, “Listen, you know who the group of people on the stage are; they’re all hotheads! So I mean, shocked? It doesn’t seem that shocking to me.” He added, “I mean, it’s a bunch of hotheads in a hothouse environment.”
Meanwhile, Tom’s pal Tom Schwartz shared insights into Tom Sandoval’s relationship with Raquel after splitting from Ariana. In an episode of “Watch What Happens Live“, he told Andy the former is addicted to the former pageant beauty. Describing her as “his heroine,” he explained, “It’s an infatuation of all infatuations.”
On the other hand, “Dancing with the Stars” isn’t the only project that Ariana is preparing for. The reality TV star is set to appear in a new Lifetime movie, “Buying Back My Daughter” which will also star Meagan Good.
