What happened to Mick Carter in EastEnders?
Mick married Janine Carter (nee Butcher) on December 23, 2022.
However, on Christmas Day, Jada Lennox told Mick, Linda and the rest of the Carter family that Janine had framed Linda for drink driving.
It lead to Annie Carter being removed from her care.

Mick decided to leave Janine and reconciled with Linda.
He confessed his love for Linda and the two attempted to take Janine to the police.
However, Janine managed to get in a car and drove off.
Mick and Linda followed Janine to a cliff where Mick grabbed Janine and tried to take her back with him.
However, Janine kneed Mick in the groin and hit him with a rock before she attempted to drive off the cliff.
Mick attempted to save them by diving into the sea.
He successfully saved Janine and went back into the sea to save Linda.
Was Mick's body found in EastEnders?
After diving back into the sea to save Linda, Mick disappeared.
The police believed he was pulled out by the tide and ultimately to his death.
Walford's residents believed Mick was dead.
Linda and Shirley decided to leave Walford so they could grieve for Mick.
Linda later returned to Walford and put a photo up of Mick behind the bar in his memory.
Is Mick returning to EastEnders?
Danny Dyer announced his departure from EastEnders in 2022 stating he wanted to pursue other ventures.
He also stated dwindling viewing figures contributed to his decision.
At the time he stated: "The big news is I've decided not to renew my contract. That's all.
"That's not because I've fallen out with anybody, I love everybody.”
However, Danny later hinted he may be open to returning to the soap when told the Radio Times:
