VIEWERS are waiting with bated breath to find out who the father of Sarah Platt's baby really is.
Coronation Street fans have been debating online and shared their theories – with one unexpected name thrown into the mix.
1. Adam Barlow
Probability: 45%
The Underworld PA portrayed by Tina O'Brien initially refused to build a family with her husband Adam (Sam Robertson) as she wanted to focus on her career.
But when she found out she was pregnant, Sarah decided to face the music as she's recently been attending scans for her unborn child.
ITV viewers have been hoping that the solicitor is the father of the baby, taking to social media to share their opinions.
"I hope it's Adam's to give Ken a great grandchild before his death and have the ultimate Corrie's baby: Barlow, Baldwin, "Platt"(as Martin wasn't Sarah's biological father). Either way, it won't bare as big of a shock as the writers think it will", one Reddit user penned.

Another added: "I think it will be Adam’s baby, so that Sarah will have to choose between family and career, as Knickerbocker (yes, I know, but the real name is even worse) takes off and she’s required to do loads of business travel. Yet another dilemma to drive a wedge between the couple."
With Adam being Sarah's husband, he is the first to be pointed out as the father of her baby.
In recent scenes of the Manchester-based drama, Sarah even told Adam he was the father.
But, of course, nothing is ever really as easy in the cobbles.

Earlier in the year, Sarah met Damon Hay (Ciarán Griffiths) in Debbie Webster's hotel and the pair quickly embarked on an affair.
Sarah eventually confessed to the illicit romance after her son Harry caught her kissing Damon.
But coming clean to her husband Adam had major consequences and their marriage was put through the wringer by her pregnancy bombshell.
Adam did everything he could to get rid of Damon and he succeeded as the drug dealer fled the cobbles to escape a furious Niall.
With their union hanging by a thread, Sarah lied to Adam following a paternity test and told him she'd received results confirming he was the father.
But in recent scenes of the long-running drama, Damon appeared to be confirmed as the father of Sarah's baby when she found a letter proving the paternity test results and cried in her uncle Stephen Reid's arms.

3. Steve McDonald
Probability: 20%
Confirmation of the paternity is due to come to the Barlow-Platt couple but, in the meantime, another theory emerged on Reddit.
One viewer joked that Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson) could have fathered Sarah's baby in an unexpected twist.
This wouldn't be the first time Steve gets involved in a love triangle as he is reputed ladies' man.
"He's got half the street up the stick it feels like", another viewer agreed with the theory, "wouldn't surprise me!"
What if Sarah was to reveal she also fell for Steve's charm and wound up in bed with him after feeling abandoned by her hard-working husband Adam?
