Who plays Eve in EastEnders and what else has she starred in?

Eve Unwin has had quite the time in EastEnders over the past two years – from her shocking arrival to her doomed affair.

From heartbreaks to people plotting to kill her by cutting her brakes, she fits right in with the never-ending drama of Albert Square residents.

But who plays the character and where have you seen her before?

Who plays Eve Unwin?

Eve is played by actress Heather Peace.

Outside of her role on EastEnders, Heather is perhaps best known for her role as Nikki Boston in the BBC One school-based drama series Waterloo Road from 2012 to 2014.

Her other credits include Sally ‘Gracie’ Fields in ITV’s long-running series London’s Burning.

Outside of acting, Heather is a prominent LGBTQ+ activist, and, n 2019, she hosted a two part chat and music show called Heather Peace at the Bedford on the brand new digital TV channel Diva Box Office, which is the first lesbian digital TV channel in Europe.

When did Eve join EastEnders?

Eve Unwin first arrived in Albert Square back in 2021.

She was revealed to be a former lawyer – struck off – who served time in prison alongside Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner).

Only, it was revealed the two did more than share a cell. They were married while in prison.

Despite enjoying wedding bells (or wedding cells) Eve ended up having an affair with Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal).

The couple ended up gaining massive support from fans, but they faced a killer exit after run-ins with the likes of Nish (Navin Chowdhry).

However, things were slightly less dastardly – but still tragic, as Suki ditched Eve for Nish.

But that doesn’t mean Eve doesn’t have options… she’s having sex dreams about, er, Shrimpy after all.

Does Heather Peace have a partner?

The EastEnders star and her long-time partner Ellie Dickinson entered into a civil partnership in 2013, and subsequently converted it to marriage in 2014.

The couple have three daughters together: Annie Mary, born in April 2015, and twins Jessie and Lola, born in June 2017.
