Will Smith denies gay rumors after Brother Bilaal's ‘false’ claim Fresh Prince star had sex with actor Duane Martin | The Sun

ACTOR Will Smith has denied as "unequivocally false" claims by a former assistant that he caught him having sex with a man.

The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air star, 55, denied rumors of a gay relationship with actor Duane Martin in a statement released by his representatives on Tuesday.

It came after Brother Bilaal, who described himself as Will Smith's ex-personal assistant made the shock claim in a viral interview shared online.

Brother Bilaal also made unsubstantiated claims about Will and Jada Pinkett Smith's sex life and alleged that the Men In Black star's wife had made demands that all staff working for the couple check into rehab.

Speaking to social media personality Tasha K, Bilaal claimed he had once walked in on Smith having sex with Duane Martin, 58, an actor who appeared in an episode of Fresh Prince.

He alleged that he had opened the door to Martin's dressing room and caught the pair.

A spokesperson for Smith was quick to deny the allegations about the Academy Award-winning actor and rapper.

"This story is completely fabricated and the claim is unequivocally false," they told TMZ late Tuesday night.

A source close to Smith has also claimed that he is considering taking legal action following Bilaal's remarks.

Martin, who was married to actress Tisha Campbell from 1996 to 2020, has not spoken out since the release of the Bilaal interview.

It comes after Jada Pinkett Smith revealed she and Will had been secretly separated for seven years in a shock interview in October.

Jada, whose memoir Worthy was released last month, told the Today Show's Hoda Kotb that hers and Will's marriage had effectively ended by 2016.

"I think by the time we got to 2016 we were just exhausted with trying," she said. "I think we were both kind of just still stuck in our fantasy of what we thought the other person should be."

Kotb also asked Pinkett Smith about the long-term rumors which have swirled around the Hollywood power couple.

She said: "You and Will probably have more rumors about you and talk about you than others – 'They're in an open marriage, they're swingers, he's gay, she's gay.'"

Denying the accusations, Pinkett Smith said: "I would say that none of that's true. I definitely can understand why there'd be misunderstandings, but none of it's true."

The actress, 52, who married Will in 1997, admitted in a subsequent interview that the pair have been trying to "figure out" what the future of their marriage looks like.

Jada and Will, who have two children, Jaden, 25, and Willow, 22, told People: "We're still figuring it out. We've been doing some really heavy-duty work together."

She added: "We've just got deep love for each other and we are going to figure out what that looks like for us."

Speaking about their children, including 30-year-old Trey from Smith's previous marriage, Jada said: "They're little gurus. They've taught me a deep sense of self-acceptance."

Smith subsequently responded to his estranged wife's revelations with his own comments.
