Brit swimmer, 64, dies after being pulled unconscious from sea in Zante | The Sun

A BRITISH man was tragically found dead in Greece after being pulled unconscious from the sea.

The 64-year-old was spotted swimming in the water off the coast of Zante yesterday afternoon.

He was taken to hospital in the resort town of Kalamaki and later pronounced dead.

The Brit pensioner was reportedly pulled from the water around 3.30pm.

Just weeks ago another British man died after being pulled unconscious from the sea in Zante.

The 57-year-old was found on a beach and taken to the hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

And a 4-year-old boy was swept out to sea in the same village, Laganas, just the day before.

Despite wearing a life jacket, the child was dragged away from the shore by strong winds before being later rescued by emergency services.
