I made over my kitchen for just £50 using buys from Home Bargains, eBay & the charity shop – it looks so much better now | The Sun

A MAN has been praised after showing how he completely made over his kitchen for just £50.

Martin proudly posted the results on Facebook, explaining that he wanted to prove you "don't have to spend a fortune" for an entirely new look.

"All this cost a grand total of £52," he added, sharing before and after pictures of the kitchen on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group on Facebook.

Behind the cooker, he'd used stickers from eBay to transform the cream tiles – making them monochrome.

He also used stick-on tiles which he got from the charity shop and Home Bargains to cover up the beige kitchen floor.

And he gave the cupboards a whole new look courtesy of sticky plastic wrap from homeware store Boyes.

Martin added in response to the abundance of comments that everything he'd done is removable, making it the perfect solution if you're renting.

People were quick to praise him for the incredible transformation, with one writing: "Wow! That's awesome! And thank you so much for sharing."

"Well done you, great transformation," another added.
