EXCLUSIVE ‘I wasn’t even drunk!’: Hairdresser insists she’s NOT racist as she faces jail for booze-fuelled rant at her neighbour

  • EXCLUSIVE: Katie Bradsell, 32, found guilty of racially aggravated harassment
  • But the hairdresser insists she is not racist and was not drunk during incident

A hairdresser facing jail over a drunken racist rant against her next door neighbour fears she will lose her job and her home.

But Katie Bradsell, 32, a mother-of-one, is continuing to protest a miscarriage of justice.

Bradsell was found guilty earlier this week of calling Mohammed Ali a ‘fat smelly sweaty P**i’ and warned she faces imprisonment.

But she denies she ever said this – or having been drunk – and now fears she could end up homeless.

The single mum, who lives with her 10-year-old son and pet Staffordshire terrier Sky said: ‘ I risk losing everything.’

Foul-mouthed hairdresser Katie Bradsell is facing jail for launching a racist hate campaign against her next door neighbours during an ugly spat in their village cul-de-sac

Bradsell, 32, was arrested after she called fisherman Mohammed Ali a ‘fat smelly sweaty p***’ and an ‘ugly c**t’

She went on: ‘I’ve been in this house for ten years, and this is making my life a misery.’

Her home is a housing association property and she fears she will be evicted now.

She said: ‘I have been told by an enforcement officer that I’ll be kicked out of my home because of the court case.’

‘It looks like I’m going to lose my employment as well because I’ve been wrongly convicted.’

She added: ‘This situation is 100 per cent a nightmare….I am not a racist.’

A court heard that during one tirade outside their terraced properties in Willow Hey, near Chester, Bradsell told Mr Ali: ‘You f***ing p**i, you fat smelly p**i, look at you, you revolt me, f***ing c***s’.

The neighbourhood feud, which became known as the ‘War of Willow Hey’, even caused a six-year-old boy who witnessed it to ask his mum: ‘What’s a p**i?’ One neighbour later told a court: ‘It’s fair to say none of the residents get on well with Katie Bradsell.’

Matters came to a climax on September 20, 2022, when Mr Ali and Ms Rideal, who had been together for two years, returned home from a trip to a local leisure centre

Bradsell, who was said to be unpopular with all of her neighbours, also called Mr Ali’s partner Georgina Rideal (pictured together) a ‘d****ead’ and a ‘sl**’ as another resident tried to calm her down

The court heard she had moved into a row of terraces on the cul-de-sac – where houses are worth up to £450,000 – in 2014, but fell out with Mr Ali’s partner over an unproven allegation of assault.

Matters came to a climax on September 20, 2022, when Mr Ali and his partner returned home from a trip to a local leisure centre and Bradsell was putting out bins.

Mr Ali said that a row in the street culminated in her racist tirade: ‘I said ‘What do you want?’ but she started effing and blinding saying ‘You fat p***k’ and ‘You smelly c***’ and I just slammed the door on her.’

Mr Ali added that he told her to get away from his family, adding that Bradsell was ‘frothing, she was drunk, she drinks everyday’.

In a statement he added: ‘The language used to me was disgusting and abusive and caused me to become particularly angry and upset. I was targeted because of my skin colour or race. Nobody should be made to feel this way. I was frustrated because it happened in front of my partner and baby son. The whole incident was very distressing to me and my family.’

Another neighbour Samantha Williamson said: ‘I could hear the words ‘You fat p**i’

She said Mr Ali had called Bradsell ‘a fat sl*g’.
