TWO people have been killed after a plane plunged to the ground and burst into flames at an airshow.
The pilot and passenger, aged 67 and 37, both died after their small propeller plane crashed at the Börgönd air show near Budapest in Hungary.
Three people in a car near the crash site suffered serious burns and were rushed to hospital, police said.
A little boy on the ground was also injured.
According to reports, the US Army T-28 Trojan – built in 1951 – made a vertical descent before crashing and exploding.
Terrifying footage showed the moment the plane hit the ground in front of stunned crowds as thick black smoke poured into the sky.
