A MAN who was snatched as a toddler and given to a billionaire family has shared his incredible story of finding his biological parents 25 years later.
Mei Zhiqiang, 27, has told how he was reunited with his birth parents who had spent over two decades searching for him after his disappearance.
While Mei was left stunned when he discovered his parents Mei Xianhua and Pan Chang’e were actually multimillionaires, he was just happy to rejoin them and insists "money can't buy happiness."
In an interview with Jiupai News, published earlier this month, Mei shared how he reunited with his birth parents back in June thanks to a DNA match, South China Morning Post reports.
The young man was abducted as he was playing outside his home in China's southwestern province of Yunnan when he was two years old in 1997.
His parents who were migrant workers from the eastern Jiangxi province launched a desperate hunt to find their missing son but to no avail.

His father later said they were like"two mad people" looking for their child who vanished.
Mei told the outlet that another family bought him from human traffickers but later abandoned him because he was "too thin and small."
He was then adopted by a billionaire family in the Fujian province.
Despite growing up in a loving home, with two elder sisters and a younger brother, Mei said he always had a feeling he wasn't his parents' biological son.

Meanwhile, his biological family would celebrate his birthday every year in his absence, not giving up hope that they would see him again one day.
Mei's parents and siblings were able to reunite with him with the help of family friend Du Xiaohua, who was also searching for his son who was abducted 12 years ago.
The emotional reunion happened last June with Mei's dad saying: "No matter how rich they are, their love is different from ours – the love of birth parents."
Mei added he didn’t feel strange around his biological family because he could " see my parents’ love for me."
The 27-year-old who now works in the family business, a hotel supplies company said he only shared his story to raise awareness for families who are still looking for their abducted children.
