A WOMAN has been knifed to death in her home after allegedly asking a neighbour to turn down his music.
Wendy Buckney-Morgan was found dead in her quiet village home in Clydach near Swansea as a 55-year-old man has been arrested for murder.
Emergency services rushed to save the OAP's life about 8:20am on Tuesday morning but she could not be saved.
Wendy, who founded a popular riding school, appeared to have been well-liked with many friends in the area.
One villager told The Times: “Wendy was a very popular member of the local community, she comes from a big family and is very well-known.
"We have heard that she was stabbed to death after she asked him to turn his music down. It’s absolutely shocking.”

One neighbour said the community was still coming to grips with the loss.
They said: "She always seemed like a lovely lady and we can't believe this has happened here. It is just so shocking."
Conservative councillor Brigitte Rowlands said: "Everybody is really saddened by what has happened.
"It is an awful feeling that this could happen in such a pleasant village.

"We will have to wait and see what the investigation brings."
Wendy founded the Penyfedw Riding Centre kept horses with stables around three miles away from her home.
South Wales Police said a 55-year-old man was being held on suspicion of murder.
A spokeswoman said: "South Wales Police have commenced a murder investigation following the discovery of the body of a 71 year old woman in a property on Tanycoed Road, Clydach, Swansea just after 8.20am this morning.
"A 55-year-old local man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in police custody".
Acting Detective Superintendent Mark Lewis said: "Clearly, this incident will cause shock to the close knit community of Clydach.
