Mia Khalifa slams claim her OnlyFans ‘is a f***ing scam’ after flogging £160 pic

Mia Khalifa has hit back at claims that her OnlyFans page "is a f***ing scam".

The former Pornhub legend, who turned 30 earlier this year, quit the adult industry in 2015 after shooting only a handful of videos.

Since then she has been critical of the industry for "taking advantage" of young girls.

The Lebanese-American star also revealed she'd received a number of death threats from ISIS after appearing in an infamous porn video while wearing a hijab, which also contributed to her decision to quit.

In recent years Mia has reinvented herself as a social media influencer and figure in the fashion industry.

Although she still has an account on OnlyFans – a website typically used to share porn – Mia no longer poses nude. Her bio on the page reads "safe for work, but spicy".

In a recent interview with 032c's fashion editor Brenda Weischer, Mia explained she makes money from selling individual pieces of content (one photo or video at a time) and last year managed to flog a single picture for $200 (£160) – the most you can sell an image for.

"There is tier content for Instagram, then tier content for subscribers, and then tier content that you pay for," she explained.

"I love my work there, but people are used to seeing celebrities doing OF content on Instagram for free. My biggest feedback from people on OF is, 'Your OnlyFans is a f***ing scam'.

"You can either look at me from ten years ago or you can pay to look at me now. Up to you."

Mia went on to explain how she managed to flog one picture for $200.

On OnlyFans, users can't see any of the photos or videos until they have paid, but they can see the caption.

Mia said that the image was captioned "between two cocks". It was actually a snap of her in a bikini on a farm standing next to two statues of roosters.

She told 032c: "It got two reactions: 'You got me there,' and 'I’m calling my credit card company to get my money back!'

"I mean, go ahead. Call your bank and explain what you just spent $200 on."
