The thief wears all-black attire, with a Miami Heat cap on top of his head and a cloth mask hiding his face. Tattoos cover the length of both arms.

The man retrieves a large wicker chair from the porch and carries it back to the car.  He attempts to load it in to the trunk sideways, raising one leg to catch his balance and adopting an odd, flamingo-like pose.

The brazen thief hesitates when he sees his method isn’t working, readjusts his grip on the chair and attempts to load it in again.

He drops it on the driveway for a second, and, regaining his energy, picks it back up. This time, he attempts to put it in legs-first, but the chair proves to be too big. As he tries a different angle, a pillow falls to the ground.

The man pauses, musters the last of his strength and slides it in sideways. However, the legs don’t fit, resting on the edge of the trunk.

The thief crouches and begins to push with all his might. He eventually fits the chair in the trunk sideways.

With the first part of the caper completed, he strides back to the porch and ducks out of the camera’s view before reappearing with a potted palm.

He wrestles it back to the car and initially attempts to put it in the trunk sideways, which doesn’t work, as the tree is longer than the entire width of the car.

The man attempts to fit the chair in several times before turning it sideways and shoving it in – not before losing a pillow

The potted palm proves to be more of a struggle, as it is longer than the width of the car

The thief makes several attempts to fit the palm and finally manages to slide it in, joining the chair

Closing the trunk is also a challenge, but the masked man is persistent, and finally forces it shut

Perez uploaded a follow up video the next day, showing the bare front porch

He flips the palm around and shoves it furiously. Miraculously, it fits.

The man begins to head back to the porch, then appears to change his mind and returns to force the trunk closed, only for it to catch on some protruding palm fronds.

He shoves the door until it is mostly closed and walks around to the driver’s side. Here, the video ends.

Perez posted a follow up video to her TikTok account the next day, panning her phone camera over the empty porch.

‘Results of the robbery yesterday…now it makes me laugh but yesterday it made me angry,’ she wrote.

It is unclear if the incident was reported to police.
