Motorcyclist crashes into pedestrians leaving one dead and three injured in horror smash

A man has died after a motorbike ploughed into pedestrians in a horrific pile-up, which left three others injured.  

An investigation is under way after the fatal collision between a motorbike and pedestrians on Plumstead Road, Greenwich, in London on Sunday evening.

The police, ambulance and air ambulances attended the scene after receiving reports of a crash at around 7.30pm. 

Four people were injured, including the motorcycle rider.  

A male pedestrian died at the scene and the other three were taken to hospital for further treatment, the Metropolitan Police said.

Roads around the scene of the crash remained closed on Sunday night as police investigated the collision between a motorbike and pedestrians 

The condition of the injured pedestrians and the motorcyclist is not currently known.  

Several nearby roads remained closed on Sunday evening after the fatal collision. 

Inquiries into the incident continue, the force added.
