PARENTS have been warned to stay alert after two strangers tried to force a girl into a car near a school.

The pupil was approached by the suspects near Worcester Sixth Form College.

Police are now investigating the horror, which is believed to have taken place on Thursday.

Headteacher David Butler has now urged parents to remind their children to be vigilant.

In an email, he said: "We have been made aware of a serious incident that occurred yesterday afternoon in which a female student, who attends Worcester Sixth Form College, was approached by two strangers who attempted to force her into a car.

"This incident happened in the vicinity of the Sixth Form College and police are involved.
