THE QUEEN has reportedly invited the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to Balmoral this summer, in an attempt to mend relations.

The offer would seemingly allow the pair to avoid senior royals.

Her Maj, 96, arrived in the Highlands on Thursday and is set to stay for ten weeks at seven-bed Craigowan Lodge.

A Balmoral insider said: “Staff have been told to expect the full list of royals including Harry, Meghan and their children Archie and Lilibet.

“They are preparing for the Sussexes.”

Another insider said: “Balmoral is the perfect place for them to spend a little bit of quality time with the Queen.

“They barely had 15 minutes with her at the jubilee.”

However, some sources believe the couple will SNUB the Queen.

One source told the Sun: “I would be stunned if they did turn up.”

Are Meghan and Harry trying to turn the royals 'woke'?

Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle have made very clear their attempts to distance themselves from the royal family.

But some commentators are convinced they are still trying to influence proceedings, in their own way.

This comes after it was announced that the couple's Netflix Docuseries will air at the same time as the latest season of bit drama 'The Crown'

Angela Levin, royal biographer, said: “More proof that Harry and Meghan want to run a woke alternative royal family that would wipe out the one we have already.

“Time to lose their titles and for Harry: his Counsellor of State post.”

She went on to comment: “Of course with Meghan also as president in the USA.”

Royal expert claims US is best place for William and Harry to end rift

Princes William and Harry would be best placed to end their dispute in the United States amid hopes of a stateside brotherly reunion, as there is “no better place” according to a royal expert.

Express Online reports that royal fans are hoping to see the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and the Sussexes reunite during William’s trip to Boston for the Earthshot Prize.

According to Natalie Oliveri, a writer at Australian news outlet Honey Nine, “with Prince Harry and Meghan living in Montecito, in California, with their two children Archie and Lilibet, it would be the optimum time to finally lay down their guns and repair the rift.

“There’s no better place to put an end to this family feud than in the US, where both couples are incredibly popular.”

How does the Queen like to drink her tea?

The secret formula to the Queen’s perfect cup of tea has been revealed by a former Royal chef.

In an exclusive interview with Coffee Friend, Darren McGrady said: “Hot tea has to be hot. Tea has to be absolute boiling water poured over the top of it, it has to steep for five minutes, that is the most important part. It’s really, really important when making tea is that it’s made in a teapot – that is a real cup of tea.

“What goes in first? Is it milk or is it tea? Nowadays it doesn’t matter so much, but in the olden days the china was porcelain and the boiling water would crack the cup, so the milk would go in first.”
