THE QUEEN has reportedly invited the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to Balmoral this summer, in an attempt to mend relations.
The offer would seemingly allow the pair to avoid senior royals.
Her Maj, 96, arrived in the Highlands on Thursday and is set to stay for ten weeks at seven-bed Craigowan Lodge.
A Balmoral insider said: “Staff have been told to expect the full list of royals including Harry, Meghan and their children Archie and Lilibet.
“They are preparing for the Sussexes.”
Another insider said: “Balmoral is the perfect place for them to spend a little bit of quality time with the Queen.
“They barely had 15 minutes with her at the jubilee.”
However, some sources believe the couple will SNUB the Queen.
One source told the Sun: “I would be stunned if they did turn up.”

The Charity Commission has said it will not be probing a whopping £2.5million donation to a charity from Prince Charles.
An ex-Qatari PM, Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim, gave the cash that included a suitcase of 500 euro notes from between 2011-2015.
The Charity Commission said: “We have assessed the information provided by the charity and have determined there is no further regulatory role.”

The royal family celebrates the annual swan census
Her Majesty's official Twitter account has hailed the work of the Swan Uppers, as they count the swan population in the River Thames.
This annual event takes place in order to protect the much-loved bird.
"The Swan Uppers travel in traditional wooden skiffs across 79 miles of river. On locating a family of swans, the boats surround the birds before lifting them out of the water where they are weight and examined for injury or disease," the Royal Twitter said.

JFK’s grandson thrilled by Prince William’s choice for Earthshot venue
JFK’s only grandson was thrilled that Prince William is travelling to Boston in December to celebrate the second Earthshot prize.
According to Express Online, the prize created by the Duke of Cambridge and Sir David Attenborough is awarded to five winners who have contributed towards environmentalism.
This year’s ceremony is being organised in collaboration with Boston’s mayor, Michelle Wu, and the John F. Kennedy Library Foundation.
During a Ted Talk in July 2021 the Prince said he was “inspired” by the then US President’s “impossible” pledge to send a man to the moon by the end of the 1960s.
He said: “I’ve long been inspired by President John F. Kennedy’s 1961 mission to put a man on the moon within a decade.
“He named it the Moonshot.”
JFK’s only grandson shared his reaction to the announcement on social media, and it seems he was thrilled by the news.

Express Online reports that royal fans are hoping to see the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and the Sussexes reunite during William’s trip to Boston for the Earthshot Prize.
According to Natalie Oliveri, a writer at Australian news outlet Honey Nine, “with Prince Harry and Meghan living in Montecito, in California, with their two children Archie and Lilibet, it would be the optimum time to finally lay down their guns and repair the rift.

Prince George turned nine years old on Friday with new photos set to mark the special occasion.
The Daily Express reports royal site Gert’s Royals took to Twitter to explain why he had an official photographer until now:

In an exclusive interview with Coffee Friend, Darren McGrady said: “Hot tea has to be hot. Tea has to be absolute boiling water poured over the top of it, it has to steep for five minutes, that is the most important part. It’s really, really important when making tea is that it’s made in a teapot – that is a real cup of tea.

Mum Kate Middleton, 40, took the smiley snap of Prince George on a beach during a family holiday earlier this month.

Who was Lord Mountbatten and how was he related to Prince Philip?
His death rocked the royals especially those close to Lord Mountbatten, including Prince Phillip and Prince Charles.
Lord Mountbatten was born Prince Louis of Battenberg in Windsor on June 25, 1900.
He was born at Frogmore House, a Grade I listed building belonging to the Crown estate.
